Lower-cost hot runners.

A simplified line of hot-runner nozzles that helps trim costs up to 40% is new from Profine Molds Inc., Oakville, Ont. The cost savings reportedly come when the nozzles are combined with a manifold and mold from Profine. Its new front-mounted proRunner nozzles consist of four interchangeable parts--nozzle body, gate body, flange flange (flanj) a projecting border or edge; in dentistry, that part of the denture base which extends from around the embedded teeth to the border of the denture.
