AirTran operates over 750 daily flights throughout the eastern USA and the Midwest, including over 270 daily departures from AirTran Airways announced a service expansion at Baltimore/Washington International comprising new five-times-weekly flights to Seattle beginning May 24, new thrice-daily service to Portland, Maine Portland is the largest city in the U.S. state of Maine, with a 2004 population of 63,882.
