Love those lunch buddies.


A second grader who is aggressive on the playground and in class could be headed for trouble. But new research from the University of Arkansas shows that a volunteer lunchtime mentor can help a child get back on track. When children met for weekly lunches with a college student "lunch buddy," teachers reported more smiles and better behavior.
