 was named the 2007 Naismith Trophy Male High School Player of the Year on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-10 center averaged 33 points, 17 rebounds, four assists and three blocks per game as a senior, and set the Oregon prep career scoring with 2,628 points. His Lakers lost in the OSAA OSAA Oregon School Activities Association

Love, a three-time state player of the year and 2006 Parade All-American, will play for UCLA UCLA University of California at Los Angeles
