Losing Le Madame.


For years as Warsaw's mayor, the staunchly antigay Lech Lech (lĕkh), river, c.175 mi (280 km) long, rising in Vorarlberg, W Austria, and flowing NE into S Germany past Augsburg to the Danube River. The Wertach River is its chief tributary.  Kaczynski tried to close the city's famous gay-inclusive nightclub, Le Madame. Now he's Poland's president. elected on a platform of "moral cleansing" last year (with his brother leading the nation's parliament), and he has finally gotten his way.

Kaczynski had the courts clarify that the city owned the property and ordered the club closed in late March. A star-studded weeklong week·long
