It lies to the east of the city of Los Angeles, to the north of the Puente Hills, to the south of the San Gabriel Mountains, and to the west of the Inland Empire. He came to the Daily News in July 2001 from the Star Tribune in Minnesota where he was president and publisher.

Tracy Rafter was promoted to publisher and CEO of the Daily News. She was most recently senior vice president of advertising and marketing for LANG. Rafter has been with LANG since February 2002 and will report to Schueler.
