Lonza announces U.S. distribution sales changes.

Lonza announced changes regarding its authorized distributor sales network for the U.S. hygiene and personal care markets. According to the company, the changes are part of a continuous performance improvement process in an effort to provide Lonza customers with the best supply and support service possible in regions served by the network of authorized distributors.

In addition to the southeast and midwest regions, Lonza has appointed Harcros Chemicals to now service the south central region, including Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas from its base operations in Dallas, TX. Harcros will also serve the New England region, including Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Vermont from its branch in Nashua, NH.

Lonza has extended the coverage area of Brenntag-Great Lakes of Milwaukee, which services customers in Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Brenntag also provides service to Lonza customers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast region from its Brenntag Northeast operations based in Reading, PA.

Lonza has further consolidated its distribution network in Ohio by appointing Boehle Chemical of Detroit as it authorized distributor for hygiene and personal care products, providing service to Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.
