A new version of the Plus AT5DL continuous-extrusion, long-stroke machine from Automa North/America, Buffalo, N.Y., has a 50-mm longer horizontal stroke--now 450 mm. The 100-ton machine also has a newly extended center distance, thereby increasing bottle-size and throughput The speed with which a computer processes data. It is a combination of internal processing speed, peripheral speeds (I/O) and the efficiency of the operating system and other system software all working together.
