Long Island Builders help out Habitat.Members of the Long Island Builders Institute, through its charitable arm, Long Island Home Builders Care, have volunteered their time, materials, resources and expertise to erect e·rect adj. 1. Being in or having a vertical, upright position. 2. Being in or having a stiff, rigid physiological condition. 5 new homes in North Bellport for low income families. All five homes were built in one week's time, beginning on June June: see month. 5 and ending on June 9, 2006. This project has allowed five underprivileged families the opportunity to own their own homes. Home Builders Blitz, is a national program involving approximately 1,000 homebuilders across the country. The five homes on Long Island are on the same block in North Bellport and were constructed simultaneously. Materials and labor for the construction were donated do·nate v. do·nat·ed, do·nat·ing, do·nates v.tr. To present as a gift to a fund or cause; contribute. v.intr. To make a contribution to a fund or cause. by LIBI LIBI Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument (US National Park Service) members. Builders including Long Island Home Builders Care, Ornstein-Leyton Companies, Avalon Bay Communities, Crystal Bay Homes and Emanon Equities, participated in this project. |
