Lonely Like a River.

Lonely Like a River

It is fine to see the outside so hazy
After rain, sadness
And darkness creeps in

Dark clouds weakening the day
Rivers are back to rolling
Following a strong chime
Down the closed throats of heroes & heroines

I look straight
In the red Sahara on my head
The stars soaking wet, sinking
I'm a hole refrigerated in fear

I want to run back
To hide in the hills of my heartbeats
I want to lick dry my bull hopes
Of crossing this river

Of solitude.
