&uot;As the industry leader for open, interoperable controls, the LonMark Association has a wealth of exciting products and installations to demonstrate at the AHR EXPO this year,&uot; said Paula Skokowski, executive director of the LonMark Interoperability Association. &uot;The rate of introduction of new LonMark products and the number of LonMark installation successes are increasing rapidly. The manufacturers participating in this demo represent just a fraction of the many leading companies who have declared LonMark products as the future of interoperability in this industry.&uot;

&uot;We are pleased to be working with the LonMark Interoperability Association and LonMark member companies to bring the benefits of open LonWorks systems to the buildings industry,&uot; said Beatrice Yormark, Echelon's vice president of sales and marketing. &uot;The Association's demonstration at AHR Expo shows how, by integrating products from multiple manufactures and from multiple subsystems -- heating, lighting, security, etc. -- into a flat, open system, LonWorks networks deliver unmatched functionality, flexibility, reliability, and life-cycle cost savings to building owners and operators.&uot;

In addition, colorful and informative &uot;case study&uot; panels highlight several recent installations of LonMark products around the world. Each panel contains a short synopsis of the project, including the background, the solution, the project specifications, and the benefits LonMark products brought to the system.

About the LonMark Interoperability Association

Since its inception in 1994, the LonMark Interoperability Association has become a major driving force in the establishment of interoperable guidelines for building, industrial, transportation and residential/utility automation. LonMark membership is open to any manufacturer, end-user and system integrator committed to the development and use of open, interoperable products using multi-vendor LonWorks control networks.

Products that have been verified to conform to Verb 1. conform to - satisfy a condition or restriction; "Does this paper meet the requirements for the degree?"
fit, meet

coordinate - be co-ordinated; "These activities coordinate well"
 Echelon's LonMark interoperability guidelines are eligible to carry the LonMark logo, an indicator that a product has been designed to interoperate over a LonWorks network.
