The new remote features improved one-touch activity buttons and a button layout optimized to control digital video recorders See DVR.  (DVRs) such as TiVo[R]. It's also the company's first remote to include the new Harmony 7.0 software, which makes setting up the remote and fine-tuning it on the PC easier than ever. And like all of Logitech's award-winning family of Harmony remotes, the Harmony 670 remote can completely control an entertainment system - it's the only remote people will need.

"When we designed our new remote, we paid close attention to the success of the Harmony 659 and the features that made it popular," said Bryan McLeod, vice president of Logitech's remote control products. "We enhanced those features, such as making the color-coded one-touch activity buttons slightly larger, and updated the button layout to reflect the trends in today's living room. In the end, we expect the affordably priced Harmony 670 remote to exceed the popularity of its predecessor, which helped establish the Harmony brand."

The Harmony 670 remote's color-coded activity, backlighted buttons make it easy for any member of the family to launch an entertainment activity. Pressing one of these clearly labeled buttons - such as Watch TV, Listen to Music, and Watch Movie - can put an entire entertainment system and all of its components in the right state for these activities.
