ACTIVE Governance provides the first integrated platform for risk documentation and internal controls automation for ERP applications, the company said in an announcement. It allows companies to automatically enforce both regulatory mandates and internal policies for governance, risk and compliance within their day-to-day business processes.

ACTIVE Governance includes the Access Governor, Data Governor and Policy Governor modules for managing segregation of duties, user-access tracking, data change control, transaction monitoring and automation of key financial processes. Through these modules, controls can be implemented to monitor or prevent any user activity that would violate governance policies.

The Access, Data and Policy Governor modules sit atop the ACTIVE Governance Platform, which provides a framework for risk documentation and associated controls. The Platform also offers a business intelligence engine that drives executive dashboards and historical reporting, providing a complete audit trail of control activity to support corporate governance requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley, OMB A-123 and others.
