(application) Computer-Based Training - (CBT) Training (of humans) done by interaction with a computer. The programs and data used in CBT are known as "courseware."
program that enables the U.S. Army Recruiting Recruit or Army recruit is a term often colloquially used to refer to the lowest military rank in various armed services. It usually implies that the soldier so labeled has not yet completed basic training.

More formally, "recruit" means a person attending boot camp.
Command to quickly and effectively train nearly 12,000 Army, Army Reserve and Army National Guard recruiters worldwide. The program supports the system-wide rollout of the Army Recruiting Information Support System (ARISS) software.

"We were faced with the challenge of training nearly 12,000 recruiters around the world in a timely, efficient manner," said Sergeant First Class Tom Williams Tom Williams can refer to:

of the U.S. Army. "With the new program, recruiters can receive training precisely when they need it. And everything they need to know about the software program they'll use to recruit and enlist new soldiers is readily available."

LogicBay worked closely with the Army Recruiting Command on all aspects of the program's development, including defining the strategic goals of the training, developing and designing the content, and promoting the new training.

"This program is a wonderful example of all the benefits of computer-based learning," said Paul Jeffries, president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of LogicBay. "By creating a seamless package of computer-based training modules, we shifted the burden of teaching from the Army leadership to a virtual instructor. That translates into less time and money spent on training and a more knowledgeable, productive staff of recruiters."

The program, which is so user friendly that it can be understood by even those who have never touched a computer, is designed to create a smooth transition from the analog to the digital world for the Army Recruiting Command. It includes 12 modules, each of which train an application of ARISS, including non-prior service applicant, unit information records and server-side simulation. It is designed to track every piece of information received about a prospective recruit, providing a seamless connection from the first conversation to the enlistment. The program will also be used as a forecasting tool to help recruiters stay on target with their recruiting goals.

"The advent of ARISS 2000 CBT is a total reengineering of our training strategies," said Master Sergeant General David Dawson, U.S. Army. "In the past we had used the 'train-the-trainer' model, where everyone was receiving a different experience. This new program adds a level of consistency that was impossible to reach with more traditional methods."

The computer-based training program allows for self-paced learning and has an implied learning path through several levels of courses. However, one can navigate to any section of any lesson at any time. ARISS 2000 CBT provides initial training in how to use the new software and supports just-in-time training when a refresher course is needed.

"The feedback that we have gotten on this program has been remarkable," said Dawson. "Recruiters around the world agree - it's engaging, practical, timely learning."
