Logic Works announces support for INFORMIX-Universal Server.

Leading provider of modeling tools announces ModelBlades -- unique component technology to support Informix DataBlade Modules

At DBExpo today, Logic Works Logic Works Inc. was a software company based in Princeton, New Jersey. Their flagship product was an IDEF1X modeling and database design tool called ERwin (ERwin) whose name is formed from an initialism of ER for Entity Relationship and "win", short for windows. , Inc., the leading provider of database design and modeling tools, announced development plans to deliver full modeling and design support for INFORMIX(R)-Universal Server.

Corporate Informix users and third-party DataBlade developers using Logic Works ERwin will be able to "plug-in" custom ModelBlades to immediately enhance their productivity. Logic Works Universal Modeling Architecture is the only design environment ideally suited to support the extensibility of INFORMIX-Universal Server and enable customers to develop new Intra/Internet applications and extend their core business systems.
