Together, the companies will provide integrated source-to-target dimensional modeling using Logic Works' ERwin(R) 2.6 to design and generate star schemas optimized for Red Brick Warehouse, Red Brick's flagship relational database (RDBMS) specialized for data warehouse applications.

Logic Works' ERwin is a powerful tool that supports the design and generation of databases for data warehouse applications, as well as client/server and Web/Intranet applications. ERwin 2.6 will create dimensional models that automatically generate star schemas for Red Brick Warehouse implementations, providing a solid foundation for data warehouse application development.

Red Brick Warehouse features STARjoin(TM), a high-speed, single-pass, parallelizable multi-table join. By joining multiple tables in a single operation, Red Brick Warehouse offers superior join-processing performance.
