Lockton Appoints Robert T. Lipps Executive Director of LAMP.

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 9, 2004

Lockton Insurance Brokers, the nation's largest independently owned insurance broker, appointed Robert T. Lipps Executive Director of Lockton Alliance for Ministry Protection (LAMP). He will be based in Lockton's recently opened San Francisco office.

In his new post, Mr. Lipps will be responsible for strategy and new business development of Lockton's new initiative, LAMP, which provides risk management and insurance solutions to the religious community.

Mr. Lipps has more than 25 years of experience holding legal and financial positions at high-profile religious organizations. Before joining Lockton, Mr. Lipps served as Vice President and General Counsel at the Florida-based Wycliffe Bible Translators Wycliffe Bible Translators is a nonprofit organization with headquarters in Dallas, Texas, USA. It is dedicated to making a translation of the Bible in every living language in the world, especially for cultures with little existing Christian influence, sometimes referred to as , Inc. He also served as Chairman of the Board for Stewardship Insurance Ltd. and International Vice President for Finance and Legal Affairs for The Summer Institute of Linguistics, Inc., a 70-year old non-profit organization affiliated with Wycliffe.
