Lockheed Martin announces new task order wins under the transportation security administration's Specialized Security Training Contract.

:LMT LMT left mentotransverse (position of fetus). ) has announced several new task order wins spanning the spectrum of training and technology services. These task orders have been awarded under the Specialized Security Training Contract (SST SST: see airplane. ), an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract held by the Transportation Security Administration.

The scope of the SST contract includes training, management and technology services to support TSA TSA

DHS Department of Health Services
DHS Demographic and Health Surveys
DHS Dirhams (Morocco national currency) 
 as well as other federal agencies such as the Department of Defense.

At initial award, Lockheed Martin was tasked with providing the full range of support for a number of training programs, including combination screener training and baggage training as well as providing Customer Service Support Center (CSSC CSSC China State Shipbuilding Corporation
CSSC Civil Service Sports Council (UK)
CSSC Center for the Study of Southern Culture
CSSC Certified Structured Settlement Consultant
CSSC Canadian Strategic Software Consortium
) services.

Through the CSSC, Lockheed Martin provides customer service support to TSA and DHS customers, including planning, scheduling, logistics, deployment and travel coordination for trainers and students, and data management to maintain and update all relevant data records such as attendance, scores, and re-certification requirements.

The latest task order awards, valued at a total of $5.6M, include increased numbers of new hire screener training; the addition of both passenger and baggage cross-over training; federal flight deck officer The Federal Flight Deck Officer (FFDO) program is run by the Federal Air Marshal Service with the aim of allowing select pilots of commercial airline flights to carry firearms.
