Lockheed Martin Wins RTCASS Contract from NAVAIR.

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 26, 1999--

Lockheed Martin Information Systems has been awarded an $11 million contract to provide two prototype Reconfigurable Transportable Consolidated Automated Support System (RTCASS) stations, associated logistics, and support to the U.S. Navy.

An outgrowth of CASS, the world's largest automated test program, RTCASS can be configured to provide comprehensive diagnostic solutions for weapon system electronics/avionics over the full range of test capabilities, including analog, digital, RF, and electro-optics.

Packaging options include standard "depot" racks as well as ruggedized, lightweight, portable cases that meet stringent shock, vibration, and thermal standards. The portable packaging solution uses an innovative interface between adjacent cases to eliminate external cables.
