Federal Systems, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $12,529,560 fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-96-C-6226) for incorporation of Engineering Change Proposal 016-NSSN Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (C3I C3I Command, Control, Communications & Intelligence (US DoD) C3I Computer Controlled Coil Ignition C3I Command, Control, and Communications Interoperability C3I Command Control Communications and Intelligence ) System. The C3I System will be installed on NSSN NSSN New Attack Submarine (Nuclear Propulsion) NSSN National Standards Systems Network NSSN NATO Standard Stock Number Class submarines and primarily provides sonar, combat control, exterior communications, electronic surveillance measures and imaging functions, along with supporting subsystems. Work will be performed in Manassas, Va., and is to be completed by March 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
