Corp., Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $9,300,000 modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-96-C-6226) for materials and hardware relative to the incorporation of Engineering Change Proposal 016, The NSSN NSSN New Attack Submarine (Nuclear Propulsion) NSSN National Standards Systems Network NSSN NATO Standard Stock Number Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence (C3I C3I Command, Control, Communications & Intelligence (US DoD) C3I Computer Controlled Coil Ignition C3I Command, Control, and Communications Interoperability C3I Command Control Communications and Intelligence ) System. The C3I System will be installed on NSSN-class submarines and primarily provides sonar, combat control, exterior communications, electronic surveillance measures and imaging functions, along with supporting subsystems. Work will be performed in Manassas, Va., and is expected to be completed by October 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
