Lockheed Martin Corp., Information Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $7,607,509 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-00-C-0289) for the fabrication, assembly, integration and testing for three Engineering, Manufacturing and Development (EMD EMD Electromechanical dissociation, see there ) Reconfigurable Transportable Consolidated Automated Support System (RTCASS RTCASS Reconfigurable Transportable Consolidated Automated Support System ) stations. This requirement includes cabling, and one Operation/Performance Interface Device (OPID OPID Operator Identification ) Test Program Set (TPS) to be used for V-22 TPS development. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla., and is expected to be completed by April 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command The Naval Air Systems Command, or NAVAIR, is the part of the United States Navy which provides materiel support for naval aircraft and airborne weapon systems, such as guided missiles. NAVAIR was established in 1966 as the successor to the Navy's Bureau of Naval Weapons (BuWeps). , Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
