Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) is a leading multinational aerospace manufacturer and advanced technology company formed in 1995 by the merger of Lockheed Corporation with Martin Marietta.
 has awarded the company with STAR supplier status in recognition of Palomar's performance on the VH-71 Presidential Helicopter program. Representatives from Lockheed Martin will present the award in a ceremony at Palomar Products on Thursday November 2nd.

The Lockheed Martin STAR Supplier Program was implemented in 1999 with the goal of developing stronger supply chain relationships. The program enables Lockheed Martin to recognize their top performing suppliers. Palomar Products was recognized with the STAR status for their ability to meet the established quality and delivery requirements.
