, Naval Electronics & Surveillance Systems, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $9,492,865 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Fixed Surveillance Systems (FSS FSS Federal Supply Service (US General Services Administration)

) Engineering Support Services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services . The contractor will design, code, test, distribute, and install FSS software, including corrections to shore-site fielded Fixed Surveillance Systems. In addition, the contractor will also procure and configure hardware suites to support FSS software installations as required. This contract includes options, which if exercised will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $45,294,972. Work will be performed in Manassas, Va. (70%), and Fixed Surveillance Systems shore sites around the world (30%), and is expected to be completed by December 2005. Contract funds in the amount of $950,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured because the hardware and software used at the shore sites was developed by Lockheed Martin and no other contractors have this maintenance capability.
