Well, aren't we just special! This little town has so much going on this weekend that it makes your head spin.

The Oregon Festival of American Music Oregon Festival of American Music is an eclectic, thematically-based two-week summer music festival that has been held annually in Eugene, Oregon since 1992. Produced by The John G.  is responsible for four shows: South Africa's Ladysmith Black Mambazo Ladysmith Black Mambazo (mämbäz`ō), choral group formed in 1965 in Ladysmith, South Africa, led by Joseph Shabalala. The group, which sings with a precise yet free-flowing phrasing, has consisted of 8 to 12 members.  at 7:30 p.m. today, jazz singer Nnenna Freelon Nnenna Freelon, (b. July 28, 1954), is an American jazz singer, composer, producer, and arranger. She has been nominated for five Grammy Awards for her vocal work,[1]  at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Texas alt-country guitarist Rosie Flores Rosie Flores (born September 10 1950 in San Antonio, Texas) is a rockabilly and country music artist of Mexican American heritage. Her music blends rockabilly, honky tonk, jazz, and Western swing along with traditional influences from her Tex-Mex heritage.  at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and the Emerald City Jazz Kings playing Glenn Miller Noun 1.  music at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. All are at the Shedd Concert Hall.

Flamenco Vivo/Carlota Santana will show what happened to flamenco when it bumped into colombianas, guajiras, milonga, vidalita and salsa in "Bailes de Ida y Vuelta," at the Hult Center at 8 p.m. today.

 and Karl Denson's Tiny Universe at 8 p.m. Saturday.

And those are just the big venues. The clubs also will be busy: Eugene guitarist Justin King at Cafe Paradiso (9 p.m. today); real-deal blues singer Alice Stuart at Sam Bond's (9:30 p.m. today); and a bluegrass bluegrass, any species of the large and widely distributed genus Poa, chiefly range and pasture grasses of economic importance in temperate and cool regions. In general, bluegrasses are perennial with fine-leaved foliage that is bluish green in some species.  and old time show with Cross-eyed Rosie, Anna Coogan and North 19, and the Tallboys at Cafe Paradiso (8 p.m. Saturday).

Joshua James and the Runaway Train and other performers will do a Johnny Cash tribute at 10 p.m. Saturday at John Henry's. On Monday, Project/Object will team up with Napoleon Murphy Brock and Ike Willis for a Frank Zappa show at 9 p.m. at the WOW Hall.

Two Asian communities will be in the spotlight.

Thirty-five Cambodian-American youths from Portland will demonstrate traditional dances Saturday as part of Celebrate Cambodia! at Spencer Butte Middle School. The 5 p.m. event also will include dinner and a slide show on Angkor Wat.

A Thai Cultural Festival will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the UO's Erb Memorial Union. A Thai film titled "Mekhong Full" will be shown at 4 p.m.
