Projects funded include clinics, master classes, seminars, educational workshops to prepare for certification examinations, community outreach projects and projects promoting interaction between local associations and collegiate chapters, area colleges or other musical or arts organizations. Applications and guidelines for the 2006 grant program will be available September 1, 2006. The deadline for receiving completed applications will be February 1, 2007. Recipients will be announced at the 2007 MTNA National Conference in Toronto, Ontario, in March and will receive funds no later than May 1. |
