Lithuania's Telecom Regulator Selects Telcordia and Mano Numeris to Enable Number Portability; Underscores Telcordia's Global Number Portability Clearinghouse Leadership Position.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Demonstrating its leadership in the international number portability arena, Telcordia Technologies today announced that Lithuania's Communications Regulatory Authority, RRT, has selected Telcordia's Number Portability Clearinghouse solution to support number portability requirements for fixed line and mobile providers. Telcordia's Number Portability Clearinghouse solution, operated by Mano Numeris, enables Lithuania's RRT to promote expanded competition among operators through new market opportunities, creating new revenue streams while providing increased choices for subscribers.

Awarded a 10 year contract, Mano Numeris will act as the in-country data center and operations support provider with Telcordia providing the Number Portability Clearinghouse application and solution support.
