Listen.com Syndicates its Music Download Directory to shockwave.com.


SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 11, 1999--

Listen.com announced today that is it providing users of shockwave.com with direct access to listen.com's comprehensive directory of downloadable music. shockwave.com, the new online entertainment center, is Listen.com's first announced syndication partner.

The distribution deals provide a co-branded ("powered by Listen.com") version of Listen.com's music download A music download refers to the transferring of a music file from an Internet-facing computer or website to a user's local computer. This term encompasses both legal downloads and downloads of copyright material without permission or payment if required.  directory integrated into the look and feel of shockwave.com.
