Lisa Kay Nimura.
Lisan Kay Nimura, international ballet dancer, died in August at
the age of 96. She toured with the Pavley-Oukrainsky Ballet Company Noun 1. ballet company - a company that produces ballets troupe, company - organization of performers and associated personnel (especially theatrical); "the traveling company all stayed at the same hotel" in
the 1920s and '30s and often partnered with her husband, Yeichi
Nimura. In 1932 she received an award from the First International Dance
Congress, judged that year by Ruth St. Denis Denis, king of Portugal: see Diniz. . She also taught at Ballet
Arts of Carnegie Hall in NYC NYC abbr. New York City
