Liquid silicone injection.

An enhanced version of the company's Silicone Stuffer is available for all G8 presses. Molders are said to be able to more easily transition from rubber strip feed to silicone, owing to the improvements in this device. A redesigned hydraulic cylinder increases injection force by up to 60%, while two styles of connection tubes are available to link the Stuffer with the injection unit on the press. This configuration is said to accommodate any feed setup currently in use in the industry. Also, the Stuffer tip has been increased in size for greater volume, and a more direct compound path to the extruder side of the injection unit has been incorporated. For operator safety, the connecting head of the Stuffer can remain in place when the press is running rubber strip, which also speeds the changeover time. Stuffer units are available in standard 6-liter, 10-liter and 30-liter capacities. (Rep)
