Lion-hearted day against racism.

LOVE Music Hate Racism are teaming up with Youth Fight For Jobs to stage a pre-election concert in Coventry on Saturday, May 1. The May Day bash at Coventry University SU's Bar 54 in Cox Street features a varied bill topped by Leo Ihenacho (left) aka Leo The Lion, a sometime collaborator with Mike Skinner/The Streets.

Also featured are The Thirst, who have supported the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Sex Pistols and Pete Docherty, drum & bass band Dub Mafia, hip-hop newcomer Artcha, and Coventry band The Shackletons.

All are appearing at the non-profit event an expenses-only basis.

It's a 16-plus concert (ID required) running from 9pm to 3am and entry is pounds 5.
