Lines That RHYME.

THE SCHOOL YEAR

   September is when
   schools start.
   Kids have to be
   really smart.
   Spelling might be
   tough,
   And the teachers
   might be rough.
   But enjoy the year,
   and have no fear.

Bridget Burtzel Cold Spring, Minnesota

MONKEY SEE, MONKEY DO

   Monkey see,
   monkey do.
   Monkey gets in
   trouble, too.
   Monkey up,
   monkey down.
   Monkey running
   all around.
   Monkey here,
   monkey there.
   Monkey, will you
   learn to share?

Priyanka Prakash Wheaton, Illinois

YOU MIGHT FIND A TURTLE

   Roses are red.
   Violets are purple.
   When you find
   a pond,
   You might find a turtle!

Christina Wu Ellicott City, Maryland
