--   Lindex Care - cosmetics and body care products - will be launched
     in 6-8 stores in Norway during spring 2000.

--   Strong sales trend during December 1999.


Lindex is a retail chain with 296 stores on the Nordic market and 17 stores in Germany. The Group's product segments are ladies' wear, lingerie, children's clothing and Lindex Care - cosmetics cosmetics, preparations externally applied to change or enhance the beauty of skin, hair, nails, lips, and eyes.
