Lincoln National Convertible Securities Fund Declares Quarterly Dividend.

FORT WAYNE, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 9, 1999--

The Board of Directors of Lincoln National Convertible Securities Fund, Inc. (NYSE:LNV) today declared a dividend of 22 cents per share.

The dividend is payable on July 30, 1999 to shareholders of record on July 21, 1999. The 22 cents per share is the same as the first quarter dividend.

Lincoln National Convertible Securities Fund is a closed-end, diversified investment management company managed by Lincoln Investment Management, Inc., the primary fixed-income investment advisor for Lincoln National Corporation. Lynch & Mayer, Inc., of New York serves as a subadvisor to Lincoln Investment Management with respect to the fund's portfolio.

The fund's primary objective is to provide a high level of total return through a combination of capital appreciation and current income. Net assets under management are approximately $100 million.
