I started in Brixton, South London, at a club called the Fridge. I was making white labels then, a mix of reggae and hip-hop. I grew up in South London, surrounded by reggae music. It's a natural sound to me. I love doing this; it makes me high and feel good. What's up with your new mixtape Haters Lie Down? It's blowing up big time. Industry people are saying that I'm the best new dancehall DJ on the West Coast, so I feel blessed. I spent months putting all the tracks together, then I went into the studio and produced them with Dora P, aka Tha Chemist. We worked 16-hour days and rebuilt the songs; all those tracks are exclusive. What's up with Special Forcez? That's our new production company. Holla at my partner Dora R aka Tha Chemist. Dom P, how did you hook up with Trasha? I'm the premier mixtape producer of the hottest DJs in LA. Trasha came to me with a blueprint for Haters Lie Down and we went in the studio and knocked it out. The chemistry was so good working together we formed a production company called Special Forcez. We about to do big things. What about Skaties? Skaties was a Hollywood club started and run by Shelby Woods, Angel Biotek and myself. I was blessed to be able to rock it every week there. I dropped the dancehall every week.
