, a leading independent provider of brokerage services for active traders and institutional traders, is proud to sponsor its second annual golf classic to benefit the Lupus Foundation of America The Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) is the nation's leading non-profit voluntary health organization dedicated to finding the causes of and cure for lupus. The LFA was founded in 1977, and currently operates a nationwide network of almost 300 chapters, branches and support groups.  Connecticut Chapter (CTLFA) on Monday, September 18th at the Oak Hills Golf Course in Norwalk, CT. "We are excited about the opportunity to support such a worthy cause," said Stephen Ehrlich, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. The event at Oak Hills is open to anyone who would like to participate as an individual golfer, a participating sponsor or a silent donor. Oak Hills Golf Course is one of the finest municipal golf courses in the state of Connecticut. It is an 18-hole golf course, designed by Alfred Tull and opened in 1969. Oak Hills is located at 165 Fillow Street in Norwalk, CT.

The CTLFA, founded in 1973, is a non-profit 501-(c)-(3) corporation. Proceeds from the Lightspeed Holdings Golf Classic will help the CTLFA provide services statewide to those affected by Lupus, which include patient education and awareness programs in addition to supporting local research. With the support of individuals and organizations through this event, the CTLFA will be able to continue to help those affected by Lupus and find a cure.

While medical science has not yet developed a method for curing lupus, new research brings unexpected findings and increased hope each year.
