Canadian-owned Adventure Lights, manufacturer of illuminator and survival beacon products to US, British, Australian and Canadian special forces units, has released its new VIP Survivor multi-mode LED beacon for marine applications. The VIP Survivor is available in either a life jacket or raft version and meets the latest Solas (Safety of Life at Sea) standards for both. The unit can be easily clipped onto a variety of inflatable personal flotation devices, Swift water vests, ice rescue or survival suits, life rafts and can be used for submarine rescue applications as it features a light that can be seen for more than 2.5 nm.
