Since beginning work in 1965, the Munich based lighting design team led by Ingo Maurer has produced many exciting lighting installations for clients such as the Fondation Cartier and Chanel. The team has recently completed two installation projects for the Greater Toronto Airport Authority (left, called Earthbound earth·bound also earth-bound

Twenty years after founding his own furniture company in a loft in Altona, Hamburg-based Tobias Grau continues to innovate with a new range of suspension, batten, pedestal and task fittings. Tobias and his wife Franziska Grau now lead a team of 60 people from their distinctive headquarters in Rellingen.

Among their new range of products, iGuzzini launch two products that incorporate thick glass: iBlock (above) a cylindrical lamp diffuser dif·fus·er

505 ARC LIGHTING

Working with Burrell Foley Fischer LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol , Architects, and Light + Design Associates, Arc Lighting has recently installed almost 50[m.sup.2] of System Tread[TM] illuminated glass flooring. As part of a [pounds sterling]12m refurbishment of the premises of the Royal Society, the installation has transformed the second-floor internal courtyard, with its double-height atrium. The architect's proposals also included a 3m diameter light sculpture.
