This partnership incorporates Medi-Span's Master Drug Database (MDDB)(R) into LighthouseMD's CareTracker practice management system and clinical workflow solution, offering physician practice customers an additional tool to improve patient safety. By including Medi-Span's MDDB, LighthouseMD's customers now have access to one of the most advanced, comprehensive databases of National Drug Codes (NDCs), drug names and ingredients. The tool provides physicians with the ability to safeguard prescribed treatments by scanning everything from drug-to-condition, drug-to-food, drug-to-drug, drug-to-allergy, and duplicate therapy reactions.
