on June 30, Lighthouse is seeking lease/development proposals for four properties. The properties include the Green Bus depots on Rockaway Rockaway, narrow peninsula, c.10 mi (16 km) long, SW Long Island, SE N.Y., in Queens borough of New York City. Separating Jamaica Bay from the Atlantic Ocean and isolated from the rest of New York City, the densely populated peninsula owes its growth to road and rail  Boulevard and 147th Ave. in Jamaica and on Rockaway Beach Boulevard Rockaway Beach Boulevard, opened in 1886, was the first major east-west thoroughfare on the Rockaway Peninsula in the Borough of Queens in New York City. Much of its route parallels the Rockaway Freeway and the IND Rockaway Line above the Freeway.  in Far Rockaway, the Jamaica Bus depot on Guy Brewer and Linden Boulevards in Jamaica, and the Triboro Coach depot across from LaGuardia Airport LaGuardia Airport (IATA: LGA, ICAO: KLGA, FAA LID: LGA) is an airport serving New York City, New York, United States, located on the waterfront of Flushing Bay, and borders the neighborhoods of Astoria, Jackson Heights and East Elmhurst in the borough  on 24th Ave. in Jackson Heights.

"Since the City and the MTA have expressed their commitment to the takeover of private bus operations in Queens, we are working with the Transit Alliance to make sure that these properties are being marketed to create the most value for the companies," said Lighthouse's Louis Sheinker.

In addition, two parcels held by a Transit Alliance subsidiary -- in Brooklyn, and in East Elmhurst -- are also available. Inquiries should be directed to Louis Sheinker at Lighthouse Retail partners, LLC at (516) 887-8900.
