With a total of more than 50 years of industry experience, Flath and Meresman will be assets in further developing, deploying and managing LightSurf's compelling instant visual communications solutions around the globe.

New Board Members

Flath's experience in strategic investing, finance, operations and management include his most recent work with Applied Technology Investors as a special general partner focused on investing in information and entertainment technologies. Prior to his work with Applied Technology Investors, Flath was a general partner with Associated Venture Investors where he directed the investment in semiconductor, software and communications in early stage companies, including ISDI, which was eventually acquired by Winbon. Flath previously spent 20 years with Intel Corporation as one of the first board members on the founding board and held the positions of COO and president of Intel Japan KK.

Prior to joining Silicon Graphics, he was vice president of finance and administration and CFO of Cypress Semiconductor, which grew from $2 million to over $100 million during his four years there. Meresman also helped lead the company's IPO. Meresman was previously president of the board of the Financial Executives Institute (FEI), Silicon Valley Chapter.
