The head coach is currently Francis Flax. The Kansas Cagerz won the USBL Championship in 2007 defeating the Brooklyn Kings 95-92 in Enid, Oklahoma. . This game will not only mark the official start to the 2005 USBL season, but it will also be the first game ever played in Nebraska Cranes The Nebraska Cranes were a United States Basketball League team located in Kearney, Nebraska. The most recent head coach was Brian Walsh. In just the team's second season of existence, the Cranes won the USBL championship by defeating the defending champion Dodge City Legend in the history. The expansion team is looking forward to its historic night, Terry Leyton, General Manager and Head Coach of the Cranes, said, "We are very excited to get the season going right here at the Kearney Event Center. This is the first step towards success." Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm tomorrow night at the Kearney Event Center. USBL Commissioner, Daniel Meisenheimer, stated, "I am looking forward to another successful season. This is always an exciting time of year for the fans and the teams. I would like to wish each team good luck in their quest towards winning the USBL Championship." Opening rosters for the Thursday night opener are listed below for each team. The 2005 season will bring an array of excitement and entertainment over the next three months. The USBL has made several notable changes for the upcoming season to help fans and investors follow the USBL all season long. USBL.COM (1) (Computer Output Microfilm) Creating microfilm or microfiche from the computer. A COM machine receives print-image output from the computer either online or via tape or disk and creates a film image of each page. has a fresh look that includes some new features such as the USBL Fan Poll and Photo Gallery. The online USBL store will also be opened shortly following the start of the season giving fans a place to find USBL apparel and merchandise.
