Lifetime lease takes LI complex to 100% occupancy.

Lifetime Brands, Inc., a leading designer, developer and marketer of a broad range of nationally branded consumer products used in the home and one of Long Island's Top100 companies, has signed a lease to take additional space in the Business and Research Center at Garden City.

The deal, which brings occupancy in the building at 1000 Stewart Stewart, river, Canada

Lifetime Brands soon to be the largest tenant in the building, agreed to lease an additional 18,495 s/f of office space. The company, now in Westbury, previously agreed to lease 114, 474 s/f of space in the former Bristol Myers-Squibb Pharma complex for its executive offices, research and product development center, warehouse and showrooms. Lifetime Brands, which is expected to move into the building in December, will occupy a total 133,000 s/f in the 155,000 s/f building. Other soon-to-be-tenants include Angion Biomedica and Home Medical Equipment.

Garden City, NY-based Metropolitan Realty Associates owns the architecturally distinctive complex, which contain 186,500 s/f on 7.55 acres and is comprised of two buildings, 1000 Stewart Ave., which is 161,500 s/f and is 100% leased, and 500 Endo Blvd., which is 25,000 s/f and is being converted to professional/medical office space. Space is still available in 500 Endo Boulevard.
