Lifeline Biotechnologies makes announcement.RENO, Nev.--(BW HealthWire)--July 2, 1997--Lifeline Biotechnologies, Inc. (OTC/BB:LBTI LBTI Left Belt Tensioner Igniter ) announces the submission of a new patent in the realm of early breast cancer detection. This new process involves the advanced computer aided diagnosis of mammograms and the fusion of the Kelly Monitor (physiological data) with Mammography mammography, diagnostic procedure that uses low-dose X rays to detect abnormalities in the breasts. The early diagnosis of breast cancer made possible by the routine use of mammography for screening women increases a woman's treatment alternatives and improves her . The Kelly Monitor is a non-invasive device that has no x-ray exposure. It collects data with sensors that are worn around the breast like a Halter halter the simplest form of restraint for the head of farm animals. Comprises a poll strap, a nose band and a halter shank that brings the ends of the nose band together under the mandible. Made of leather or cotton or manila rope. Monitor similar to that of an EKG EKG: see electrocardiography. . It measures physiological data. LBTI's team of experts has developed additional technology for the Kelly Monitor for early detection of breast abnormalities. This data can be combined with Mammography and the Company's proprietary computer aided diagnostic systems. In addition to these major advances in diagnostics, Lifeline is now patent pending with new Mammographic computer aided technology designed to assist with readings of mammograms. The computer is able to see microcalcifications that are missed or cannot be seen with the naked eye, or are otherwise distorted by magnification. These new patent pending technologies will also look at other aspects of the mammogram mammogram /mam·mo·gram/ (mam´o-gram) a radiograph of the breast. mam·mo·gram n. An x-ray image of the breast produced by mammography. and run it on specially designed computer programs with proprietary graphics and colors to assist Physicians in not only detecting early cancer, but assist with important information in performing biopsies. Besides other patent and patent pending technologies for breast cancer that LBTI has developed, these technologies will be combined to provide new proprietary technology which has been submitted for patenting. Dr. Kevin Buckman, MD, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. of LBTI states that "this new technology fuses two physiological techniques for analysis of breast cancer with LBTI computer aided Mammography called MammoTek(TM). "This combines x-ray of the breast with physical data that is computer enhanced to provide new information for Physicians for the earliest detection of breast cancer and other medical benefits. Many studies have shown that early detection of breast cancer saves lives and medical costs. This is our goal at Lifeline Biotechnologies, Inc."
