Lifekeepers International Inc. Adds Management Depth With Appointment of Medical Director.

Lifekeepers International Inc. (OTC BB:LIFR) announced Wednesday that a key element towards the continued growth of the company's diagnostic ultrasound division has been secured with the appointment of Alfonso Mireles, M.D., FAAP, as the Medical Director for Life Keepers Inc.

Dr. Mireles is a Board Certified member of the Central Florida Pediatric Society, the American College of Managed Care Medicine, and a Fellow of The American Academy of Pediatrics. Aside from maintaining his own private practice, Dr. Mireles served as Staff Physician and Flight Surgeon over a 5-year period for United Airlines (NYSE:UAL). Additionally, Dr. Mireles held responsibility for all operations and staffing of Urgent Care Facilities while acting as Medical Director for Humana MedFirst (NYSE:HUM).

As Medical Director, Dr. Mireles will work closely with Life Keepers' President, Alfred Crump, to set in motion many vital aspects of the diagnostic testing division. Initially, Dr. Mireles will implement all screening procedures and protocols, and provide consultation with various specialists to read and interpret ultrasound examinations. He will also establish the necessary alliance between Life Keepers and medical laboratories for procedural blood analysis.
