LifeStyle Furnishings divests two more divisions. (Trends & News).


LifeStyle Furnishings International Ltd. of High Point, NC, has announced that it will sell two divisions: case good and upholstery maker Lexington Home Brands and upholstery and drapery producer The Robert Allen Robert Allen may refer to:
  • Robert Allen (Tennessee) (1778-1844), U.S. Congressman from Tennessee
  • Robert Allen (Virginia) (1794-1859), U.S. Congressman from Virginia
  • Robert Allen (general) (1811-1886), American Civil War general
 Group Inc.

Lexington Home Brands will be bought by a group of LHB LHB Local Health Board

Both deals are expected to close in about 60 days. Terms were not disclosed for either sale.

The sell-off of divisions continues a trend begun in December, when LifeStyle sold its Henredon, Drexel Heritage and Maitland-Smith divisions to St. Louis, MO-based Furniture Brands Inc. At the time, the company said it was in negotiation for the sale of three other divisions but described Lexington Home Brands and the Robert Allen Group as its "principal business units."
