The incomparable Chita Rivera Chita Rivera (born Dolores Conchita Figueroa del Rivero on January 23, 1933 in Washington, D.C.) is a Tony Award-winning Broadway musical actress dancer, and singer best known for her musical theater roles.  will receive the Rolex Dance Award at "One World," the Career Transition For Dancers' 21st Anniversary Jubilee at City Center on Oct. 23. The benefit raises the funds CTFD CTFD Calm the Freak Down (polite form)  needs to continue its career counseling outreach programs, and the educational scholarships they provide to dancers who are making post-performing plans.
