Who:    The Life Science Industry Council (LINC) is an organization
        committed to raising the profile and promoting the growth of
        the life science industry in Orange County, Calif.

What:   In conjunction with the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions,
        LINC will host a networking luncheon and presentation
        featuring Tommy G. Thompson, the Independent Chair for the
        Deloitte Center for Health Solutions, a part of Deloitte &
        Touche USA LLP. Thompson is the former Health and Human
        Services Secretary and four-term governor of Wisconsin.

Why:    The aging population, public-policy changes and technology
        advancements are three titanic, converging issues that present
        new challenges to life sciences companies. Thompson will
        discuss how life science companies can focus on their core
        competencies while cutting through the red tape in government
        programs and better serve the needs of the American
        population.
