Pitney Bowes MapInfo Corporation is a Location Intelligence / GIS company, headquartered in Troy, New York, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pitney Bowes.
 Corporation has a new academic licensing program for its core data products. Annual license packages now provide detailed, up-to-date geographic data Geographic data is about much more than electronic pictures of maps.
