The Secretary of Professional Unions, Syndicates and Associations Affairs at the General People's Congress said Libya Maritime Exhibition, as a grand scientific, economic gathering, consolidates Great Jamahiriya scientific, economic, political standing, which it has gained by the virtue of the Great al-Fateh Revolution and the continuous motivation of its Leader to realize sustainable development in all areas and to change the Mediterranean Sea into a bridge connecting its peoples. Addressing inauguration of the exhibition in Tripoli, the secretary said organizing that scientific, economic event reflected a promising volume of maritime markets in Great Jamahiriya, which is executing huge developmental programs in all areas including seaports, airports, roads, communications, water, environment protection, energy, housing, universities, hospitals and industries. He touched on the Great Jamahiriya concerns for environment safety, especially the Mediterranean Sea which is threatened by pollution from the industrialized countries in the north side. At the start of his speech, the Secretary of the General Trade Conference of Seaports expressed warm congratulation to the Leader of the Revolution and his honourable family and the Libyan people on Eid al-Fitr and the 39th anniversary of the Great al-Fateh Revolution, expressing the conference's keenness that the event will bring about constructive outcomes and clarifying that the conference associated with the exhibition will discuss several topics and latest developments related to maritime industries.
